Today, you will have a drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara city. Pokhara is the country’s tourist hub and is also the main gateway into the Annapurna region treks. It takes about 5 hours to reach Pokhara from the capital, and the drive there is filled with wonderful natural sights of the mountains and rivers. Upon arriving at Pokhara, you will be escorted to your Hotel. Overnights stay at Pokhara hotel.

Early in the morning, you will have a drive to Nayapul. It is another famous stop during the Annapurna trek. From Nayapul, you will begin your trek to Tikhedhunga, passing through ethnic villages like Birethanti, Lamdawali, Sudame, and Hile. The Annapurna Conservation Area post is situated at Birethanti, where you will be required to show your permit. All along the trek, the trekking path beautifully coruscates through the woodlands of pine, rhododendron, and cedar, and you can enjoy gorgeous views of the Annapurna and the Machhapuchhre Peaks overshadowing the valley. Overnights stay at Tikhedhunga, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

The relatively easy uphill trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani is filled with exceptional natural beauty. The path takes you through the thick forests of cedar and pine towards the famous village of Ghorepani. Following the trail, you will cross a suspension bridge and then ascend the 3300 step stairs to reach the Magar village of Ulleri. Cultivated fields and terrace farms dot the terrain, and the views of mountain peaks seen from the trail ridges are simply magnificent. Ahead of Ulleri lies Nangethati, where you will stop for lunch. From there, you will finally follow the path towards Ghorepani. Overnights stay at Ghorepani, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Waking up early in the morning, you will have a short hike towards one of the most famous viewpoints in the Annapurna region- Poonhill, to witness one of the most magnificent sights in the world. Passing through the beautiful alpine woodlands at Khuldighar, you will finally reach Bamboo. Overnights stay at the village, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Passing through the cold and misty bamboo forest ahead of the village, you will continue on your journey today towards the village of Deurali. The forest of bamboo trees covers up most of the sky today, and the green canopy can make it hard to see the mountains. But once you reach the Himalayan Hotel, the path then clears up again, and the mountain sights greet you as they loom over the woodlands in the distance. The climb then becomes steep, and the trail takes you to the Hinku cave. From here, you can even see the trail dropping off down towards the river below, and the ridge provides scenic panoramic views of the entire valley. The trail meanders adjacent to vertical cliffs that also occasionally hold wispy waterfalls. Overnights stay Deurali, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

The trekking trail today takes you through dotted terrain of river beds and steep climbs. You will hike up the landscape towards the Bagar village, enjoying amazing natural sights and the serene environment. The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre base Camp can be a bit strenuous, but it is manageable. From the base camp of Machhapuchhre, you can enjoy heavenly views of the Annapurna peaks, as well as views of the Gandharvachuli Peak and the Gangapurna Himal. From there, it is a straight climb up to the Annapurna Base Camp. Overnights stay at camp.

Overnights stay at Tent Base Camp, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

From the Machhapuchhre Base Camp, you will leave the snowy expanse and enter the lush green pastures once again as you make your descent down to the village of Sinuwa. The landscape is filled with alpine woodlands and terrace farms green once again as you leave the high altitude snow behind. The view of the valley from the ridgelines and cliff side as you trek to Sinuwa is also excellent. Overnights stay at Sinuwa, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Today’s trek is relatively easy as you make your way to one of the most famous yet obscure resting places in the region- Jhinu Danda. This is a natural hot spring that is believed to have healing properties. Following the coruscating trail, you will trek through the alpine canopies of lush forests back towards Dhamus Phedi. From Dhampus Phedi, you will then have a drive back to Pokhara. Overnights stay at Pokhara, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Today, you will bid the Annapurna mountains goodbye as you make your way back to the capital, following the same highway as before. The drive back is just as beautiful, with fleeting sights of the riverside villages and vast fields of mustard and wheat farms rolling in the winds. Overnights stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.
